Kirsten Carlson treats every home purchase as if it her own home. With her background in home construction, development, renovation and interior design, she truly is a one stop shop. She has been instrumental in the sale and… purchase of several of our homes and land and has extensive knowledge of the trends and market in her area. Plus, getting to spend time with her while house hunting is such a treat. There is no other realtor for me and I have had the pleasure of referring her to several other satisfied home buyers.

My husband and I live in Oregon but wanted to buy a 2nd-home (condo) in Boise. We couldn’t have found a more perfect realtor than Kirsten Carlson for this out-of-state task!! We weren’t able to come to Boise until the day we closed… escrow, so we needed someone really good and someone we could totally trust as our Boise agent. Kirsten proactively tracked daily listings in the hot market, and when she saw one she thought might work, she talked to us right away, got the “scoop” from the listing agent, sent us photos, told us about the neighborhood, etc. Kirsten is very detailed oriented, a good communicator, and someone who really knows the Boise market. She is diligent and caring, and our purchase went off without a hitch. We are positive that we could not have made this successful and smooth purchase with anyone else. She is the best! .

Kristen is AMAZING! We met her in the summer as she was a host for the Air BnB we rented. We fell in love with Boise during our stay and decided to invest in Boise. Five years ago, my wife and I were looking to move from Seattle to the Eastside. We wanted an agent that was young like us, and in touch with the realities of home buying in the internet age. As much as we liked doing our own research online, it truly made a difference to have Kenzie act like a guide to the unfamiliar buying process. She was able to provide a direct insider’s perspective without pumping us full of lame and irrelevant terms like ‘great bones’ or deceptive lingo like ‘needs TLC’ (when it really needs a sledgehammer). She was very honest and had great integrity, and took the time to find out our needs and provide appropriate assistance rather than just trying to sell us every house in our price range. She pointed out things both good and bad that my wife and I would never have noticed or thought of on our own. Now we are just wrapping up the purchase of our new home, and Kirsten was instrumental once again in guiding us through the process. With her suggestion, we took advantage of market conditions and were able to build our dream home for the cost of buying an existing home that would still have required renovation. She pulled many strings to make sure the deal met our needs and budget, and even provided advice with renting out our old house as an investment property. After the deal was done from a typical agent perspective, Kirsten continued to assist us with ensuring we got everything we wanted and expected, and even things we didn’t from the builder and mortgage broker. I have dealt with other agents in the past, but none with the amount of professionalism and trust that Kirsten instills. We will definitely refer anyone else to her based on our awesome experiences with her.

“I would, without hesitation, recommend to friends and family the real estate services of Nick Thomas. We ended up with Nick by happenstance – he reached out to gauge interest on a home we had looked at online, and offered to show it to us. From the get go, Nick was very professional, extremely knowledgeable, and ridiculously easy to work with. He understood our needs and wants without us really even needing to go into detail. We cannot say enough nice things about Kirsten. She really did have our best interest at heart and was upfront and honest during the whole process. I’ve heard that buying a home can be stressful but that doesn’t describe my experience at all. Most of my questions were answered before I ever needed to ask them. I knew exactly what was happening and what the next step would be before it happened. We will definitely be using her again for our next home purchase and sale as well as referring everyone we know her way.

I would always recommend Kirsten Carlson. I started looking for a house in early 2008 and picked Kirsten as my realtor. Every experience I had with her was nothing short of wonderful. She went out of her way to make sure I got the house I wanted. When the seller started waffling and wanting to back out, she made every effort possible to keep it going. She worked with the finance, the sellers, and I to make sure everything clicked perfectly. When the seller started “denying” agreements they made, Kirsten made sure that they were kept as much as possible, even sacrificing her financial gain to make sure I was happy and got the house I wanted. She made sure that all the inspection work got done. She even managed to make it work when the sellers were not ready by the agreed upon timeline. After purchasing my house through Kirsten, I would and have recommended her to my friends as the entire experience was not only easy, but fun with her. With Kirsten, I started out with a realtor, bought a house, and ended up with a friend. I whole-heartedly recommend Kirsten to ANYONE who is looking to buy or even sell a house.
